I created this piece in interest of exploring texture by building up color and covering it with white to create depth and organic surface. Under the white is red, blue and magenta which peeps out here and there. In the end the piece became a snowy landscape. The painting is 16" square on watercolor paper floated in a 19" contemporary black frame.
